Your commentary on China becoming the next powerhouse is an interesting one. The debate could go on forever but one thing that is interesting is what I’ve seen in social media these days. There are a number of sites dedicated to promoting made in America. I think in times of crisis, people are going back to basics – DIY, making, growing things for themselves and selling it locally. So extrapolating, I think China has a long way to go. For China to rise, they need to transition to creating instead of making. And this goes back to the very core of their education system that needs to foster well roundedness, leadership, team work etc…basically soft skills…sorta goes back to your commentary about the lack of fitness in the education system a bit.

You got the thinking….so thought put my two cents worth!
